Our chosen charity for the 2019-20 season, nominated by the Committee and approved by our members present at the AGM, is Bath Mind.
Bath Mind is a local and independently run mental health charity here to promote and nurture everyone’s mental health through the provision of information, activities, advice and support.
Bath Mind was established in 1998 by a group of local people with lived experience of mental ill health who wanted to provide information and activities for people in the community.
They are affiliated to national Mind, but are an independent charity who receive no direct funding from Mind. Therefore, any money raised for Bath Mind will go back into supporting the local community.
Their vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all and treats people with experience of mental ill health fairly, positively and with respect.

It’s with much sadness that we have to tell you that BRSC has lost one of its most loyal and respected members.
Tom Sutton, who stood down from the role of BRSC Secretary at this year’s Annual General Meeting after many years of service, passed away on Thursday 6th June.
Tom contributed a huge amount to BRSC, Bath Rugby and schools rugby both in Kent and at a National level.
We’ve lost a good friend and we’ll miss him greatly.
All our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
