Hopefully see you all on the 3rd March. Allez Bath!
What better way to start off a great West Country European rugby weekend than by getting together with fellow supporters, having a few friendly games of skittles and enjoying some food and rugby chat in one of our traditional local pubs?
That’s what’s on offer on Friday 22nd January at The Royal Oak in Widcombe (not far from The Rec) when BRSC is hosting what promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening, with a chance to socialise with some of our friends from Toulon in advance of the big game.
It all starts at 1930 with the skittles happening from about 2000 onwards and we’ll sort out the teams on the night. You don’t have to play; you’re very welcome to come and just socialise and enjoy the evening! Entry to the event is £5, payable on the night, which will include food from a hot and cold buffet. We need to know the numbers so that we can sort out the catering, so if you’d like to come, please let us know by 19th January (extended from 16th).
We will be running a special raffle at this event. You’ll have a chance to win a Bath Rugby shirt signed by Matt Banahan and Ross Batty which has been very kindly donated by one of our members. On this occasion, all proceeds from the raffle and any other donations raised during the evening will be given to a charity supporting the victims of the shootings and bombings in Paris in November.
We look forward to seeing you on the 22nd!

The Quiz itself will be hosted, as usual, by BRSC’s renowned quizmaster Dave Stock, with the format similar to the very successful events run by Dave in the past.
Nibbles will be provided to sustain you throughout, and a raffle will be held at half-time with the proceeds being donated to our Charity for this season – Great Western Air Ambulance
Teams of four can take part, but Individuals are very welcome to attend too, and will be ‘teamed up’ on the night. Entry fee is just £3 per person, to be collected on the door.
