BRSC Members and their friends are invited to join us for our annual ‘Charity Quiznight’ on Wednesday 16th December in the Clubhouse main bar.


The Quiz itself will be hosted, as usual, by BRSC’s renowned quizmaster Dave Stock, with the format similar to the very successful events run by Dave in the past.


Nibbles will be provided to sustain you throughout, and a raffle will be held at half-time with the proceeds being donated to our Charity for this season – Great Western Air Ambulance


Teams of four can take part, but Individuals are very welcome to attend too, and will be ‘teamed up’ on the night. Entry fee is just £3 per person, to be collected on the door.

BRSC are hosting a breakfast meeting for travelling Leinster supporters before the European Rugby Champions Cup group match on Saturday 21st November (k.o. is at 3.15pm). Please come along and give a traditional, hearty welcome from Bath supporters to our Leinster counterparts. A good opportunity to pop in for a chat and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the respective teams. Also a chance to meet up with BRSC Committee and other members in a relaxed environment.
We will be providing bacon rolls, sausage rolls, tea and coffee at no cost for the first 50-60 people who attend - all we ask is a donation in the bucket for our charities of the year. (If numbers exceed 50-60 we will be applying the "When it's gone, it's gone" rule!)
Please note - the bar will be open for those who prefer something stronger on match days!  Also, the Rising Sun will be serving a full match day lunch menu. 
Members of BRSC will receive a discount of 10% on food on production of their BRSC membership card.
For catering purposes it would be helpful to know how many people are likely to attend.

Please support this event if you are able to join us – we have hosted similar events for travelling supporters at European matches in the last three seasons, which were a great success.

We are pleased to be able to announce the details for the BRSC dinner to celebrate Bath Rugby’s 150th Anniversary, which will be held on Wednesday 18 November at Bath Racecourse, with Nigel Owens as our guest speaker. We are also hoping that a number of other familiar faces will be able to join us.

Time: 1900 for 2000 with carriages at midnight. A cash bar will be available on arrival and after the meal.

Dress: Black tie / lounge suit.
Cost: Cost for the evening, which includes a 3 course meal, is £45 for BRSC Members and £55 for non-Members.

How to Apply:

  1. Tickets will be available exclusively for Bath Rugby Supporters’ Club Members holding Season 2015/16 membership, from 15 September until 9 October. During this period, Current Members will be able to apply for a maximum of 2 tickets, 1 of which may be for a non-Member, purchased at the non-Member rate.
  2. Any remaining tickets will be put on general sale on 10 October until midday 1 November

Seating will be tables of 10. The booking process will allow applicants to state seating preferences, which we will make every effort to meet.

Please note, any applications received from non-Members during the exclusive “Members only” window will not be processed until after 9 October.

  • Caprese salad of buffalo mozzarella, beef tomatoes topped with torn basil and truffle oil served with rustic breads
  • Crab and crayfish tartlet served on rocket leaves accompanied by a roasted yellow pepper coulis


Main Course:

  • Feather blade of beef slowly braised in bay and juniper stock “sous-vide” served with madeira and tomato passata coulis and root vegetable crisps
  • Cod loin baked with green pesto oil and served with sauce vierge
  • Portobello pithivier filled with baby plum and black olive tapenade wrapped in puff pastry served with a camembert and leek julienne sauce (V)



  • Tarte au citron served with vanilla scented cream
  • Trio of local cheeses served with celery, grapes, biscuits and bath ales chutney

Followed by tea or coffee

Following the same format as last year, it will start from 7.00pm with a drinks reception in the Premier Lounge followed by a 2 course meal in the main bar from 7.30pm. We’ll hold a Raffle in aid of our chosen charity for this season - the Great Western Air Ambulance - and then it will be time for the Awards Ceremony. Based on your votes we’ll present:

There will also be two special awards, the Mowbray Woodward Award for Services to Bath Rugby, and the Academy Director's Award - the Alexandra Titcombe Cup.


Each table will seat 9 guests and a Player. They will be introduced by our MC of the evening and will then draw a table number out of the ‘hat’.

  • Chicken in a red wine jus, served with baby potatoes and vegetables; or
  • Salmon Fillet served with a lemon and dill sauce, served with baby potatoes and vegetables; or
