Dear Bath Rugby Supporter,

 

When Leroy Houston sadly returned to Australia it all happened so fast we didn’t have a chance to say goodbye and thank you to our Personality of the Season.  LUCKILY, he came back to us, albeit briefly, so we have another chance to wish him well and thank him for all his energy and enthusiasm for Bath Rugby, both on and off the field! 

 

With this in mind, BRSC have arranged a very informal gathering to say farewell to Leroy. Leroy has accepted our invitation and is looking forward to seeing everyone for a fond farewell and no doubt a few last selfies.

 
ALL Bath Rugby supporters are welcome, members of BRSC or not. Tea and coffee will be available for purchase, along with refreshments from the bar.

 

Admission is free but you will need to register with us beforehand so that we can know how many people to expect and ensure that the venue does not become overcrowded. There will be the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for our charity raffle, due to be held at our 20th Anniversary celebration in 2017, with the chance to win a shirt signed by some of the Bath Rugby Squad.

Following the same format as last year, it will start from 7.00pm with a drinks reception followed by a 2 course meal from 7.30pm. We’ll hold a Raffle in aid of our chosen charity for this season - Parkinson's UK, Bath and District Branch - and then it will be time for the Awards Ceremony. Based on your votes we’ll present:

Personality of the Season

Unsung Hero of the Season

Young Player of the Season

Player of the Season

 

There will also be two special awards, the Mowbray Woodward Award for Services to Bath Rugby, and the Academy Director's Award - the Alexandra Titcombe Cup.

 

Each table will seat 9 guests and a Player. They will be introduced by our MC of the evening and will then draw a table number out of the ‘hat’.

 

Menu

 

Welcome Drink: A pint of beer/lager/cider, or a glass of wine, or a soft drink

 

Main Course:

  • Herb Roasted Chicken with a red wine jus, served with Lyonnaise potatoes and seasonal vegetables; or
  • Mediterranean Vegetable Stuffed Pepper [V] with basil oil, served with seasonal vegetables

 

Dessert:

  • Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake; or
  • Cheese and Biscuits

 

Followed by tea or coffee with mints
